The building occures in small village named Velká Roudka on Drahany highlands, about 50 km north of Brno, 10 km from Letovice. The village falls withing the competence of Velké Opatovice (about 2 km). The village occures 6 km from the town Jevíčko, 20 km from the town Boskovice, 25 km from the town Moravská Třebová. The building is situated near the wood, it is from one side adjoined with another house (separated by wall), from the second side is a parking area for four cars.  

In the village you can find small shop and local pub. In immediate surroundings are magnificent forestry, which create great opportunities for hiking, cycle touring, mushrooming, for cross-country skiing in winter. In summer season there is an opportunity for swimming in near forest swimming pool (in Borotín, about 1,5 km on foot across wood, without pay), further swimming in new swimming pool in Velké Opatovice (paid, opening is planned in summer 2008), further water-basin Smolná (near town Jevíčko), where is the opportunity for fishing (5 km) and beautiful swimming pool in Letovice (9 km).
